Free for people.
Fair for business.
Personal passkeys are always free. Businesses pay only for the verified identities they serve.
For anyone who wants to stop typing passwords. Replace shared secrets with phishing-resistant passkeys across every device, and see exactly when and where your account is used — with one tap to revoke a device you don't recognise.
For product teams shipping real money movement. Add passwordless sign-in over WebAuthn and OIDC, verify who your users are with KYC, and require a signed approval for sensitive transactions — and you only pay for the identities you actually serve each month.
For banks, fintechs, and governments operating under audit. Everything in Business, plus dedicated infrastructure, data residency, a 99.99% uptime SLA, and hands-on compliance support — priced to your volume with a named team behind you.

How identity-based billing works
You pay for people, not seats or sign-ins. A monthly active identity (MAI) is a unique person who authenticates through your application at least once in a calendar month. Sign in once or fifty times — it's still one identity.

Pricing FAQs
Free for people, fair for business — the details on plans and billing.
Is Paswad really free for individuals?
Yes. Personal passkeys are free forever — no credit card and no trial clock. Individuals get unlimited passkeys and devices, sign-in and transaction alerts, an activity log with one-tap device revoke, and backup-code recovery at no cost.
Businesses only pay for the verified identities they serve. Learn what a passkey is.
What counts as a user, or monthly active identity (MAI)?
Billing is per person, not per seat or per sign-in. A monthly active identity is a unique person who authenticates through your application at least once in a calendar month — someone who signs in fifty times is still a single MAI.
On Business the first 10,000 MAIs each month are included, then $0.02 per additional identity. Personal passkeys belonging to your end users are always free and never count toward your total.
What does the Enterprise plan include?
Enterprise is built for banks, fintechs, and governments operating under audit. It adds dedicated single-tenant infrastructure, data residency by region, a 99.99% uptime SLA, SOC 2 and compliance support, and a named team — priced to your volume.
Self-hosting and custom recovery flows are available here too. Request a quote.
Is there any vendor lock-in?
No. Paswad is built on the open FIDO2 and WebAuthn standards, so your passkeys work with any compliant authenticator and are not proprietary to us. You can integrate over standard WebAuthn and OIDC.
Paswad is the identity and signing layer and never holds your funds, so your verified identities and credentials stay portable. See the architecture.
