Terms of Service
Last updated: June 12, 2026 · Paswad Inc., Delaware, USA
These Terms govern your use of Paswad's passwordless authentication and verified-identity services. By creating a Paswad identity or connecting an app, you agree to them.
1. Your account & passkeys
You're responsible for the devices that hold your passkeys. Paswad never sees your private keys or biometrics. You agree to keep at least one recovery method current so you can regain access if a device is lost.
2. The web passport
Your verified identity ("web passport") is issued by Paswad after identity verification. It is bound to a permanent passport number and is not transferable. You may present it to apps you choose; you may revoke any app's access at any time.
3. Acceptable use
Don't use Paswad to impersonate others, evade sanctions or KYC obligations, or attempt to extract credentials you don't own. We may suspend accounts that show signs of fraud or takeover while we investigate.
4. Connected apps & signing
When you authorize an app, you grant only the scopes shown at consent. Transaction signing requires your explicit passkey approval each time unless you enable recurring authority. Paswad is not a party to transactions you sign with connected apps.
5. Availability & changes
We work to keep the service available but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified, and continued use means acceptance.
6. Liability
Paswad is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for losses arising from your failure to maintain recovery methods or from actions you authorize with connected apps.
